About 10 years ago I dropped out of design school and moved into administrative-type roles—eventually leaving my Office Manager/EA job to become a Product Designer.

I spent that decade continuing to cultivate my visual design skills and grow as a professional and individual.

​

Now that I'm back, I consider myself "making up for lost time" which is why I work as hard as I play.

I am the founding product designer (and brand designer, and visual designer, and all sorts of other things) at an early-stage startup. I also work with other founders to get their MVPs off the ground.

I spend as much time as I can helping more junior designers find their feet in design and am currently coaching up a Product Design Intern in my current role.

Wearing a lot of hats at a startup…🚀 Being a founder of a company. Continuing to advocate for design, users, and businesses.

 

Also, forever working at a company that will allow me to wear one of my many adult-sized onesies to work. (I have 5. One is a Bulbasaur, which is my starter Pokémon. Important fact.)

Fun Fact: I've belly dancing for 16 years and used to perform at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Gilroy, CA with The Silk Road Caravan.
